I was recently invited, much to my surprise, to speak at a startup club’s annual event in Bangalore. I was told that my entrepreneur background and experience across 3 countries will add great value.
I dont know about the value add, I hope it does, but it had been a while since I last spoke at a public event but this seemed to be a good place to start again. So I accepted.
Opening up powerpoint felt weird, it was ages since I last created a ppt and this was soon proven by looking at powerpoint and seeing all fancy menus, ribbons and animation.
Anyway I stuck to the basics, kept it simple, spoke about some key learnings and also introduced my next startup.
My personal favorite is the slide on key learnings which outlined 3 points
“Perfect” vs “Good”
Hire Higher
10% Vs 10 Times Better
